Words and Music
Encomium into Larry Hart (1895-1943), seen through the fictive eyes of his songwriting partner, Richard Rodgers (1902-1979): by their very first meeting, through thin years and their breakthrough, with their successes on Broadway, London, and Hollywood. We view that the fruits of Hart and Rodgers' cooperation - elaborately staged numbers from their plays, personalities' visits to golf clubs, along with performances . We also see Larry's scattered approach alive, Richard's successful wooing of Dorothy Feiner, his unhappiness, and his love with Peggy McNeil.
