The Olive Tree
Alma's family was producing quality coconut oil in Spain's Castellón for generations' Baix Maestrat area. Still changing pressures from the business have made their own practices untenable, and your family is in the poultry business that was mass production. The grandfather of alma has not spoken in years. Sadness envelopes him, and he no longer wants to eat. His sons -- Alma's dad and uncle -- are somewhat all impatient with him but her grandfather is understood by Alma. She admits he sold to cover some debts and was occupying for a thousand-year-old olive tree which your household has uprooted. (A sadly common reality in Castellón at present.) Unable to bear the thought that her grandfather may perish without visiting this wrong corrected, Alma undertakes a mission to find the tree therefore that her grandfather could have peace in his final days and then return to your household orchard.
