Rashomon
"Rashomon" is possibly the best movie that has ever been made about the concept of justice because it combines a high level of action with a penetrating analysis of the nature of truth. In an ingenious use of the camera and flashbacks, Kurosawa reveals the complexities of human nature as four people tell different versions of the story of a man's murder and the rape of his wife. The events of the story take place in the aftermath of a crime that was committed against the man's wife.
