Love Cuts

Cecilia, known as Sissy, is a lively seamstress in her 40s. Wai Mun, her longtime spouse, runs a famous Chinese restaurant. He and Sissy have a happy marriage despite his dissatisfaction with life since moving to Singapore from Hong Kong. They have a 15-year-old son and a nine-year-old daughter who comforts Sissy. Their mundane lives are upended by a surprise. Sissy feels a firm bump in her left breast one day. Complex emotions overwhelm her.
